Part I: Introduction: A year in Foreign Land

Introduction to my year in Foreign Land (1 of 5)

Dear All,

Hope you all have been fine lately. since the world is still revolving and warming up.

So to begin this 5 part series. I would be taking you through the journey, experiences and fun (Of course with the studies..!!!) that I had in that study year in Great Britain and Europe

To kick this off I started a course in Foreign land (GB: Great Britain/England and for some people its just London that they know off :) )

So I start my journey in September a time when the student population migrates to newer lands to study and network like the great migration of wilder-beasts in Africa

Traveling to foreign land is always exciting because it enriches the person with enriching experiences, more expectations and forward looking perspective of the country that will be stayed for the next year

I had landed to one of the chilly afternoons in the country. The wind breeze was different than back home and it was cold, chilly and new. As the people were collecting their baggage from the belt. I stood there waiting for mine and called my Uni accommodations office to check about my Ensuite (It hadn't got approved which I eventually came to know when I landed there). To my amazement I was new in the country with known distant cousin down south of England and stranded on the Airport in North, with unknown people to give me directions

And there it seemed like I had a mini heart attack and I was thinking what would've happened back home. Just then a fellow Uni student guided me to go to Students Union ( Students Unions are the places where all activities related to students take place like uni shop, student grievances and redressals and fun other things)

Finally I reached there without an unactivated SIM card with me...

Before ending this part I would like to shout out to you all to let me know if you had similar experiences or how would you feel if this happened with you and how would you deal with it????...

Hope you enjoyed reading this and keep following this blog

Cheers and have a great time
